Some of the supplies available include colored construction paper, fadeless art paper, cover stock, bright copy paper, posterboard, oaktag, markers, pencils, rubber, cement, and special equipment including laminators, eyeleters, a binding machine, copy machine, paper cutters, and die cut machines with hundreds of shapes and patterns.

The PTRC has on display hundreds of visual aides that teachers can request for use in their classrooms in all curriculum areas—math, social studies, science, language arts, and writing, as well as storybook characters. All of the visual aides are available for purchase. North Kingstown teachers can order any pattern at no cost to them--they will be made by school volunteers and funded by their school PTO.

Many teachers will develop an idea for a visual aid and will send in information to be on the project and a rough drawing of what it should look like. The projects can be completed by you or by your own volunteers. Our facility and materials are also available to local preschool staff, church groups, Boy and Girl Scout leaders and other groups at a nominal cost.
